Golf Conditioning
Our Golf Conditioning Program was specifically designed to provide every golfer the ideal training for their sport. We achieve this by using a balanced mix of the following methods of training.
Golfer Assessment/Evaluation
Each golfer will have a detailed assessment to test golf-specific movement patterns, flexibility, and strength.
Dynamic Warm-Up
Preparing properly for a workout or round of golf can be the difference between making great strides and incurring injury. Each golfer will go through a dynamic warm-up that can be used before taking that first swing.
Balance/Stabilization
This is the foundation of any golf-related movement. Focus in this area will be on maintaining correct body posture and coordination to avoid inefficient movement.
Core Strength Training
The musculature that surrounds your spine and trunk needs to be strong, controlled, and well-balanced. Our core strength training will identify and correct muscular imbalances while teaching proper weight shift throughout the entire swing.
Rotational Flexibility
The optimal golf swing is extremely dependent upon rotational flexibility. Our goal is to improve and balance out trunk movement to increase fluidity within the swing.
Joint Stability
Proper joint stabilization in the shoulders and hips are necessary in achieving a consistent swing. We will help build improved joint stability through light resistance training.
Strength/Muscular Coordination
A balance of muscular strength and coordination are essential in order to play competitively. We connect the use of the upper and lower body through combined resistance training movements.
